Lithology and Thickness

The Gres de El Atchane Fm is characterized at the base by sandstones that become shaly towards the top (Klett, 2000).

Lower contact

It conformably overlies the Argile d’El Gassi Fm.

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Quartzites de Hamra Fm.
